West Shore Events: July 2 – July 8, 2026

As you might expect, there are plenty of America250 events on the calendar this week - but that’s not all that’s happening across the West Shore. We have sprint car racing at Williams Grove Friday and a Disney-themed youth showcase at the West Shore Theatre, while Boiling Springs draws music fans to The Playhouse at Allenberry for an intimate Michael Glabicki show. Add a dozen library and family programs scattered from Camp Hill to Enola, plus fireworks lighting up the sky several nights running — we have a full week!

Fireworks season is officially upon us. For some it’s a time of celebration and excitement, for others, stress and anxiety. Regardless of how it affects you- I’ve combed the area for local organized fireworks so you know when and where they’ll be happening. (There’s a new display in New Cumberland this year!)

Also consider this your PSA to be extra careful to keep your animals secure in the house. Many cats and dogs get scared and disoriented with the fireworks. I know I already have my dog’s tracker charged up and on his collar just in case!
