Mechanicsburg is the place to be Saturday, when Community Day takes over Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Park with food vendors, a farm market, live music, and a Kids Zone stacked with inflatables, a magician, and stilt walkers. The rest of the week keeps the pace — a dozen library and kids' events across Camp Hill, Mechanicsburg, and New Cumberland, sprint cars roaring at Williams Grove two nights running, and National Night Out popping up in three different West Shore towns on Tuesday (and one just outside the West Shore footprint). Grab a lawn chair, because the West Shore isn't slowing down for August.
