Hampden Township brings out the fireworks Saturday — literally — when its 13th annual Fun Food Fest fills Hampden Park with food trucks, live concerts by the Greater Harrisburg Concert Band, and a professional fireworks display after dark. The rest of the West Shore keeps pace: Mechanicsburg's Railroad Avenue goes car-free Friday night for Railroad Rhythms with live music and Wolf Brewing on tap, and the PA Speedweek sprint car series opens at Williams Grove the same evening. Boiling Springs earns its own trip this weekend with a ticketed farm concert, a Playhouse show, and a free open swim night; Camp Hill brings back the Strawberry Festival after more than a decade away; and the West Shore Theatre in New Cumberland hosts a Tina Turner tribute. Add more than a dozen library and kids' programs scattered across the area — then fill your coffee cup… you’re going to need the caffeine this week!
